Sending push notifications is easy with our web app, which you can access directly from your Shopify dashboard.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to link a URL to a push notification:

1. Log in to your Shopify dashboard and click on the StoreLab app on the left-hand side under “sales channels”.

2. Navigate to the "Engage" tab within the StoreLab web app. It can be found on the top navigation bar.

3. Click the green "Compose Notification" button in the right-hand corner.

4. Input the title of the push notification on the left-hand side.

5. Input the message below the title. You'll see a preview of what it will look like on the render on the right-hand side of the page.

6. You can link to a URL under “action” on the left-hand side.

7. A popup will appear where you can input the URL.

8. If you would like to upload an image "Select an image" grey box below the "Image" title.

9. Once you're happy with the copy, content and image, scroll to the "Schedule delivery" box on the left-hand side.

10. Click on the dropdown box and choose “Later, choose date/time”.

11. Two boxes will appear so you can choose the date and time you would like to have the notification sent. The time you choose will send the notification to each user at that time and date in their respective time zones. For example, choosing Tuesday at 7 pm will send to every user at 7 pm on Tuesday within their timezone.

12. Once happy with the date and time chosen and you’ve given the content one final check, click the green “schedule notification” button below.

13. If you are scheduling more than one notification, repeat steps 3-12 until you are done.

Depending on your demographic, we would suggest you read our push notifications best practices guide to inform you of the best time, day, and frequency to send notifications to your customers.
