Why use Custom Screenshots?
Uploading custom screenshots for a mobile app’s App Store listing can be incredibly beneficial. Requirements for Custom Screenshots
The requirements for Custom Screenshots are slightly different for Apple and Google - this guide will break down the requirements for each platform individually;
Apple App Store
Maximum of 8 custom screenshots.
Screenshot dimensions must be (1284 x 2778 pixels) and (1242 x 2208 pixels).
For each custom screenshot you'd like to upload, you must provide us with 2 images, one for each size mentioned above.
Screenshots must be in a PNG or JPEG format.
Our team will use these screenshots and scale them to any device running iOS.
Google Play Store
Maximum of 8 custom screenshots
Screenshot aspect ratio must be 16:9 or 9:16 with both sides between 320 pixels and 3840 pixels.
Screenshots must be in a PNG or JPEG format.
You only need to provide us with one image per screenshot you want to upload.
Our team will use these screenshots and scale them to any Android device.
Important Considerations
It may take up to a week for your custom screenshots to be processed on both platforms and uploaded.
Please refrain from using any copyrighted material in your custom screenshots as this will lead to a rejection.
Ensure you are showcasing parts of your application in the screenshots you provide us as shown in the example above, failure to sufficiently display your app will lead to the custom screenshots being rejected.
