How do I make a product or collection available on my App?

If you can’t find a collection or product, or want to make them unavailable on your app, no worries!

It’s easy to adjust the availability of your products and collections. Follow the steps below.

  1. Open your Shopify Dashboard.

  2. Click into the Product Manager on the main left-hand menu. Circled below.

3. Search for the product you wish to edit. To search, click the magnifying glass icon to the right of the top navigation bar, below “Add Product”.

4. Input the product name into the search bar.

5. Click the product.

6. Within the product page, you will see “Product Status” box at the top right-hand side of the page. Within the same box click “Manage” (underlined) next to the “Sales channels and apps” (circled)

7. A popup will appear with a list of all available sales channels. Depending on wether you want to hide the product or make it available on your App, tick or untick the box beside “StoreLab”.

8. Once you’re happy with your selection, click the green “Done” button in the lower right-hand corner of the popup.

9. Your product availability will be automatically updated within the App.


Now, let’s learn how to adjust a collection's availability.

1. Click into the Product Manager on the main left-hand menu. Circled below.

2. Click into the Collections manager from the same left-hand menu. Circled below.

3. Search for the collection you wish to edit. To search, click the magnifying glass icon to the right of the top navigation bar, below “Add Collection”.

4. Input the collection name into the search bar.

5. Click the collection.

6. Within the collection page, you will see “Collection availability” listed at the top right-hand side. Circled below.

7. Click “Manage” next to the “Collection availability”.

8. A popup will appear with a list of available sales channels. Depending on whether you want to add or hide the collection, tick or untick the box beside “StoreLab”.

9. Click the green “Save” button in the right-hand corner of the product manager.
