Within your Analytics Dashboard, you have the ability to track sales on a daily, weekly, or custom period basis, and determine their source by the following:
Push Notification: These are sales that occurred when a user converted during a session after opening a regular push notification.
Abandoned Cart: These sales originated from a session where the user converted after opening an abandoned cart push notification.
Direct: These sales were generated during a session when the user directly opened the app without any external prompt.
Here’s how you can view these metrics for your app:
Log into your Shopify dashboard and click on the StoreLab app on the left-hand side under “sales channels”.
2. Once your app is live and published in both app stores, your Analytics Dashboard will appear as soon as you click into the StoreLab web app.
3. Select the date range you wish to view by clicking on the green “Select Date Range” button at the top of the page.
4. A popup will appear. Select the date range from our dropdown of preset ranges or set a custom date range.
5. Once you’re happy with your selection click on the green “Confirm” button in the right-hand corner of the popup.
6. On your Analytics Dashboard, you will see a box at the top left of the page titled “App Sales by Source”.
Here you can see a breakdown of which source your sales by day or period (depending on the length of the selected date range) are attributed to.
