Gauging and tracking your app's retention rate is helpful for many reasons! It's like having a loyalty meter for your users. By keeping an eye on retention, you can see how much your users love your app and if they keep coming back for more. This insight helps you make it even better, keeping users engaged and happy. So, track that retention rate, build a strong community, and keep the app love going strong!
Log into your Shopify dashboard and click on the StoreLab app on the left-hand side under “sales channels”.
2. Once your app is live and published in both app stores, your Analytics Dashboard will appear as soon as you click into the StoreLab web app.
3. Select the date range you wish to view by clicking on the green “Select Date Range” button at the top of the page.
4. A popup will appear. Select the date range from our dropdown of preset ranges or set a custom date range.
5. Once you’re happy with your selection click on the green “Confirm” button in the right-hand corner of the popup.
6. At the very top of the page you can see your retention for the selected time period.
7. To see a graph of your new user sessions vs. returning user sessions, scroll to the box titled “Retention”.
