Why Smile.io x StoreLab?
Integrating Smile.io into your StoreLab Dashboard enables your customers to accumulate points for various valuable actions, such as making purchases and providing product reviews. This integration caters to the 75% of customers who are more inclined to purchase when they have the opportunity to earn rewards. Through Smile.io you can offer customers exclusive VIP program statuses and in-app redemption options that they can use for a discount. This approach allows customers to earn points and claim rewards, promoting increased engagement and loyalty to your brand.

How to link Smile.io x StoreLab
(1) Open your Shopify Dashboard and navigate to 'Apps' on the left hand side of your screen.
(2) Please select 'Smile.io' from the list of Shopify apps you have installed to your store.
(3) Once you have opened Smile.io, please click 'Settings' from the left hand side menu.
(4) Please select 'Platform' from the options within 'Settings' as shown in the screenshot below
(5) Please press 'Show more' as shown in the screenshot below
(6) Please copy your Private API Key down as shown in the screenshot below.
(7) Now that you have your private key, please navigate to the 'Integrations' tab of your StoreLab Dashboard.
(8) Please find 'Smile.io' within the list of available integrations on StoreLab and press 'Install Now' as shown below.
(9) Now please paste in the Private API Key you copied down in Step 6 as well as a link to your loyalty programme information on your website as shown below. Once done, please click 'Save Setup'.
(10) Once you have entered the required information and clicked 'Save Setup', this integration will be successfully completed.
Final Bits
To access the loyalty functions, customers must be logged into their accounts. It's important to note that loyalty programs within the app won't function with subscription products added through ReCharge.
Users can find a new option to view their loyalty rewards account information in the User Account View.
For redeeming points in exchange for rewards, a new option in the top-right corner of the Checkout View will guide users to a different page where they can explore various redemption choices. Once a reward is redeemed, a coupon code will be displayed, which can be applied during the checkout.
A significant point to remember is that redeeming a reward is an irreversible action. If a customer chooses to redeem a reward, they won't be able to regain their points if they have a change of heart.
